Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Bachelor of Physiotherapy program is offered by SVES, Anantapur. The BPT course is designed to meet up with the great standards and is recognised by DR NTRHUS. The program is taught by qualified faculty and has a balanced exposure of both academic and clinical training. The undergraduate program is for four and a half years with a well-organised curriculum and delivery modes emphasising on evidence based practices.

Introduction
Physiotherapy, or physical therapy, is a Health care profession concerned with the assessment, maintenance, and restoration of the physical function and performance of the body. It is a distinct form of care which can be performed both in isolation and in conjunction with other types of medical management. Used in conjunction with certain medical or surgical techniques, Physiotherapy can complement these techniques to help provide a speedy and complication-free return to normal activity.
Physiotherapists are often referred as ‘movement specialists’. They are trained to assess and treat a variety of conditions that affect the physical function of adults and children and adolescents are pediatric Physiotherapists. Physiotherapy can be useful in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of injuries, disease processes, and other conditions.
Physiotherapists play an integral part in the health sector and hence are required in all hospitals.
Qualification:
Intermediate/APOSS(10+2 Patter) or its equivalent examination with Botany,Zoology Physics and Chemistry Intermediate Vocational (Physiotherapy) with Bridge course orInter Vocational with Bridge course.
Age: 17 years by December of year of admission
